How would you describe your photo style?

Expect your session to be casual and fun! I consider my style "life inspired" combining observational documentary with artistic, modern portraiture. I will guide you toward the best light and backgrounds, but I want you interact casually and have fun with one another, allowing me to capture natural expressions of love and laughter.

What happens if it rains?

If the shoot is outdoors, we will make a last minute decision. Cloudy is good, rain is not good. We will exchange cell numbers during our phone consultation. I will be in touch the day before the session to discuss a contingency plan.

Do you have locations that you recommend?

I love to shoot outside or in your home and use natural light as much as possible. I have many great locations to recommend in Maplewood, South Orange, Millburn, Jersey City, etc… I'd love to hear your ideas too, so please share! During our phone consultation we will discuss and decide on the perfect location for you.

Do you sell more than prints?

Yes, I do! I offer canvases, books, prints on wood, and some jewelry. Check out a complete list of options on my website.

What can I do to help the session run smoothly?

During our consultation ask questions about the session, share ideas and try to relax and have fun! I will also send you a prep guide that gives lots of pointers!

What do you edit? 

I’m happy to edit out stray hairs or small blemishes. However, I believe images that are perfectly, imperfect – capture you and your loved ones true selves. I currently do not offer extensive editing and retouching for that reason. Any requests for additional editing will be at an hourly rate.

What should we wear?

Please request a “what to wear guide” – you will get one once you book!

Can our dog(s) be included in the session?

Yes! They can join you in the photos, however, I request that an additional person come with you to your session to hold onto him/her while they are not being photographed.

Can I keep my digital files?

You can choose which digital file package is right for you. After you download, they are yours for personal use.

When can I see my photos?

Two weeks after our session, your photos will be available in a private online viewing gallery. You can make your selections for downloading and printing from there. You will also be able to share your gallery with family and friends!

Can I print the photos?

Yes! Please print your photos. You will receive a print release for purchased files. You may print using your online gallery (so easy) and the prints are delivered right to your home. I cannot guarantee the print quality of images not printed through my designated lab.
